Our “LA Office” is located in Newport Beach. But you will be “on the go” a lot so we do not expect you to be in the office daily.  You will travel locally and regionally and will sometimes need to work outside of traditional office hours. Occasionally the job will require overnight travel.

You will report to the two Community Studio Principals and have a collaborative relationship with our Office President, Practice Leader and National Director of Marketing.  You will play a key role in our Community Practice, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • As our Community Practice Business Developer, you will collaborate with our Studio Principals for K-12 Schools and for Higher Education to create and implement the business development plan for each Studio. 
  • You will build a network with clients, prospects, contractors, consultants and other influencers in the region, and will make introductions to our Studio Principals and others to strengthen our relationships and reputation.
  • You will participate in industry conferences and associations, in concert with our Studio Principals, to deepen your knowledge and build new relationships.
  • You will meet regularly with our clients to ensure that we are meeting their expectations, and will work with our Studio Principals to address any improvements we can make to elevate client satisfaction. 
  • You will collaborate with our  Studio Principals  and our Corporate Marketing Team to:
  • Prepare customized narratives for RFQ & RFP responses.
  • Assist Studio Teams by helping them develop an interview strategy that is aimed squarely at the needs of the client, is memorable, and is well rehearsed and presented. .
  • Support the Studio Principals in coordinating meetings, events and presentations that will elevate our knowledge and reputation as experts, thought leaders and innovators.
