Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. was founded in 1975. With offices in San Francisco and San Jose, we are involved in over 900 projects per year worldwide. This position is full-time, has full benefits, and has a competitive salary. The candidate will be in the San Francisco office. Non-local applicants may be considered under ideal circumstances.

As a member of our technology team you will help design and consult on building technology systems including audiovisual, security and telecommunications.

Ideal candidates will meet the following technical requirements:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or a degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Navisworks is a plus
  • Knowledge of BIM 360 Glue is a plus
  • Knowledge of audiovisual, telecommunications and/or security systems is a “big” plus. 

Non-technical: valid driver’s license as occasional travel may be required

Chosen Candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Assist in preparation and organization of construction documents
  • Use 3d software to identify and document low-voltage infrastructure pathways.
  • Assist in developing technical standards
  • Resolve technical/ design issues to maintain progress and quality control
  • Assist in project coordination
  • Consistently meet deadlines and schedules
  • Assist with construction site walks
    • Must be able to be on his/ her feet for hours at a time, lift 25 lbs., climb ladder, etc.
