Primary Responsibilities   

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Princeton based team for a Large Healthcare Project. The primary duties of the Project Architect include leading the multi-discipline team and performing layout and detailing on architectural projects. Must have production/design experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications. Independently coordinates the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design and contract document phases of a project. Establishes client and internal meetings and participates in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance. Conducts design and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with Project Manager and other disciplines. Is responsible to coordinate workload of team members through design and contract document phases to complete documents on schedule. Reviews architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines. Performs QAQC and Technical reviews. Writes/edits architectural specifications, and may lead some projects in a dual management role. Coordinates and assists, with affected disciplines, any addendum, RFIs, CPRs and change orders and is responsible to incorporate agreed upon changes into the project documents. Provides, on an as needed basis, construction contract administration.  

Required Qualifications  

Bachelor of Architecture.

5-15 years of experience

Maintains professional registration.

Proficient in REVIT, 3D software knowledge beneficial.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).

Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired.

Candidates who reside in the Princeton/Philadelphia area are preferred.
