office42 believes in impactful design.  Our projects consist of modern home additions, the rare new house, commercial projects for non-profits (Skid Row Housing Trust and Community Coalition as some) or small new business owners who don't have much to spend on a new restaurant, office space, or pre-school, and we try to help people in South LA by donating free consultations for each of our paid ones provided.  We can't pay what big firms can, but we pay hourly and try to just work 40 hours a week as we believe each of our lives is important and we have two kids.  We want our employees to have goals and achieve them, to each be on the board of a non-profit if possible, and to better themselves.  You will work on all aspects of projects from first client meetings all the way through the end of construction, running 4-5 projects at a time.  We are looking for someone who has a passion for design and making our communities better, as well as a desire to learn, grow, and become a licensed architect.
