Kenneth Park Architects (KPA), a NYC- and LA-based firm specializing in retail, commercial and mixed-use architecture, is currently seeking a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. We seek talented and enthusiastic candidates who have an interest in architecture and design, and exhibit a willingness and initiative to contribute to the growth and success of our firm. The ideal candidate is personable, with strong communications and graphic design skills, and a passion for architecture and interior design.

 The position is based in our New York City office.



  • Work in tandem with Project Managers and Principals to track projects for marketing and communications efforts
  • Write and edit project descriptions, source and edit images, and maintain database of completed projects for updates to the firm’s portfolio
  • Update social media, prepare quarterly newsletters and maintain the firm’s website (Wordpress)
  • Write and edit news updates and articles about current projects, clients, firm announcements, etc.
  • Update and maintain the firm’s brochure; create specific, custom brochures on an as needed basis
  • Maintain firm identity and develop graphic collateral on an as needed basis
  • Press outreach and correspondence with client’s press teams

Business Development:

  • Research, identify and track potential leads and new business opportunities
  • Update and maintain CRM database (Salesforce)
  • Maintain collateral such as firm profile, leadership biographies, headshots, etc. for RFQs & RFPs
  • Produce and track RFQ and RFP submissions, and any and all qualification packages
  • Provide support for the Director of Business Development before and after events/conferences


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies, Architecture, Design, Communications, or related field
  • A minimum of a 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably with an architecture or design firm
  • Superior communications and organizational skills, including impeccable writing and copyediting skills
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Strong attention to detail, disciplined and self-motivated, with ability to work independently and with a team
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple deadlines, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of architecture and interior design, and familiarity with industry a plus
  • Proficient with social media platforms, MailChimp and Wordpress
  • Fluent in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
