OSports is looking for candidates interested in working on high profile and unique projects in the areas of Sports and Media Design. Led by our Sports, Entertainment and Technology Group, our projects are custom designs that utilize full integration of Architectural Design, Technology and Advanced Engineering to provide creative solutions for our clients.

As our OSports group continues to grow, we are looking for a talented graduate architect or architectural designer to support the design of our sports projects. The Graduate Architect will collaborate on the development of design work with our Principal Designer and Project Architects; assist in the production of all design drawings and specifications; produce models, renderings and graphics for design presentations. This individual will be a critical member of the project team and participate in a full range of project tasks for the development of design work. 

Overview of the Company:

OSports, a division of Osborn Engineering, has a rich heritage of sports and entertainment planning and design dating back to 1909, when the firm designed League Park, the first home of Cleveland's major league baseball team. Since then, we have designed and engineered numerous sports architecture icons including Yankee Stadium (1923), Fenway Park, Municipal Stadium, and Ohio Stadium to name a few. Today our practice focuses on the design and redesign of some of the nation's most beloved venues including stadia, ballparks, race tracks, arenas and multi-purpose / multi-sport facilities. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the design team in concept and schematic design through construction documentation
  • Construct digital and physical design models
  • Produce project renderings
  • Support in the design research and presentation preparation
  • Support site observations and site inventory documentation including construction administration
  • Support research for new building materials and industry standards for implementation into future projects
  • Work toward becoming a Future Project Architect / Project Designer

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Must have 0-3 years of architectural design experience
  • Must have strong understanding of design and graphical presentation
  • Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture including rendering (other modeling software is acceptable)
  • Proficient in Adobe Software including Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software including Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to provide efficient and elegant design solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship the design team and group leadership
  • Pursuing Architectural License - preferred
  • Pursuing LEED – preferred
