The ideal candidate will be a talented and energetic Project Architect/Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a design leader.  They will possess a strong design aesthetic and a proven track record for the successful management of a project from conceptual design to construction administration.  Knowledge of San Francisco codes is a plus. 


  • 5-10 years’ experience in architectural firms as a Project Manager
  • Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking, graphical presentation, and spatial design sense
  • Strong capabilities in BIM software programs such as Vectorworks 2015 (preferred but not required), Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
  • Flexibility to focus on multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
  • Excellent ability to compile construction drawings and packages
  • Experience coordinating with consultants and engineers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of San Francisco and California building code 
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited university
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in handling clients and project delivery
  • Experience in Type V construction, residential construction documents, detailing, and construction administration
  • Background in personnel management and strong ability to mentor emerging talent 



  • Work with consultants to meet overall project objectives
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
  • Work within given fees and contracts for projects
  • Manage time to stay on schedule and within budgets
  • Understand design vision and work to implement design based upon contractual agreement with client
  • Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client and team relationships
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
