We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Interior Designer with 5-7 years previous experience in the Interior Design/ Architecture industry. This position will be instrumental in conceptualizing and executing projects and interacting with team leadership (Design Director and Project Manager).

The candidate should possess have strong experience in high-end hospitality and residential projects (not schoolwork) where he/ she was involved in all phases of the interior design process and can demonstrate creative involvement. The ideal 

candidate should be well-rounded and a talented designer with a sharp design eye. She/ He can combine aesthetic sensibility with technical knowledge. And is self-motivated, organized and committed to excellence. And is able to vision and manage all aspects of an interior design project. This 30 person studio has international expertise in high-end retail, hospitality, and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • ·       Sourcing and specifying of furnishings & fabrics
  • ·       Space-planning
  • ·       Custom furniture design and development
  • ·       Work with Junior Designers to design and prepare client presentations
  • ·       Develop and maintain project budgets
  • ·       Manage project timeline and expectations
  • ·       Manage multiple projects from beginning to end
  • ·       Act as liaison with client and lead design team

Qualifications:

  • ·       Professional Degree (Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design)
  • ·       Minimum of 5 years of high-end interior design experience
  • ·       Be able to showcase finished work
  • ·       Experience with detailing
  • ·       CAD proficiency (VectorWorks a plus), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & In Design) and Microsoft Office required.
  • ·       Construction Administration experience desired.
  • ·       Spexx a plus
  • ·       Proficiency with and 3D Max/V-Ray is a plus.
  • ·       Ability to work in a fast paced environment and lead and work well in a team
  • ·       Highly developed communication skills, specifically with senior management, clients, and consultants
  • ·       Highly organized with acute attention to detail
  • ·       LEED accreditation is a plus.
