d'apostrophe design, an award winning New York architectural and design firm is looking for a motivated, talented and hard working project architect to join our dynamic team of 14 architects and designers to work on several high-end residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate :

  • Has a B-Arch and/or Masters degree in Architecture
  • Has a minimum of 7-10 years experience in high end residential and boutique commercial projects- NYC/Hamptons experience a plus
  • Is able to lead a project from Schematic Design through Construction Administration and can oversee a project filing through close out
  • Is extremely familiar with NYC building codes
  • Is proficient in Autocad, Microsoft office suite, InDesign etc and 3D modeling skills
  • Can coordinate with consultants such as structural, mechanical, AV, lighting and acoustical
  • Understands construction details, custom millwork details and is able to coordinate and review submittals and shop drawings
  • Has experience overseeing junior staff and delegating tasks 
  • Has minimum of 4 years of on site experience and following construction of projects from beginning to end.

Is effective in time management and is able to oversee and lead several projects simultaneously 

  • Has excellent communication skills, is well spoken and can communicate effectively with clients and vendors
  • Is authorized to work in USA
  • Lives currently in tri-state area
