Position Summary:
The Interiors Production Lead is responsible for collaborating in all aspects of the interior & exterior elevations and design and construction process of a building project, managing work flow and reviewing building plans to make sure the project incorporates the appropriate finishes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing, coordinating and managing projects through all phases of interior & exterior elevations, finish scheduling and communicating with contractors, including site visits.
Manages multiple projects and clients.
Prepares finish schedules.
Meets with clients, consultants, contractors and building officials on behalf of the company as the job requires.
Library building, organizing, cataloging and management.
Interfaces with reps to keep libraries current.
Participates in business development efforts.
Collaborates with Project Architect and Owner in business development, client management, and drafting of proposals.  
Performs architectural drawings, renderings and design assignments.
Completes project manual upkeep.
Leads coordination of consultants of all disciplines for assigned projects.
Provides oversight and monitoring of the work performed by junior staff.
Schedules and ensures that Quality Control reviews are completed and executed prior to submittal of any deliverable.
Establishes and executes project work plan and staffing requirements.

Documentations:
Verify computations and determine appropriateness of supporting documentation.

Administration:
Works closely with founders in providing feedback concerning project management and deliverables schedules.

Other Duties As Assigned:
 Provides input to The Brown Studio, Inc Founders and Project Architect in design operations.

Job Requirements: Education and/or Experience:
Graduate of architecture or design school
3+ years of experience
Ability to travel as required
Strong pursuit of continuing education

Project management skills and knowledge of design principals and standards.
Is technically competent and has proven growth in schematic design through construction administration.
Working knowledge of CDs and procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills. 
Ability to develop, evaluate and manage project budgets, schedule, and meet deadlines and client expectations.
Knowledgable of the design and construction process, applicable building codes, detailing methods, and product specification methods.
Time and cost driven. 
Excellent management skills (project and people management).
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead junior staff through a combination of direct instruction and subject matter expertise.
Communicates effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback on the quality of services.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with founders, staff, consultants, and partners in a team-oriented environment.
Capacity to assume responsibility for own professional development
Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving.
Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment.
Advanced Revit Skills
Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel.

Language Skills: Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
