ROART is a multidisciplinary architecture firm with offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We're looking for an Interior Architect to join our team.


At ROART, we maintain a studio atmosphere in a fast paced environment. We work day to day with one of the most prominent developers in NYC and currently have more than 20 new construction projects in all different phases.

We are seeking motivated individuals with approximately 3-6 years of professional Interior Design experience who are excited by the prospect of working on multiple new building residential projects. (Projects range from a 5 story single family townhouse in Brooklyn Heights to a University Library in Manhattan.)  


  • Develop and coordinate design concepts from schematic design through design development and construction

  • Communicate with clients

  • Liaise with consultants, vendors, and subcontractors- including visits to project sites and showrooms

  • Collaborate with project architects on fixture and finish packages

  • Prepare lighting and finish schedules

  • Design and draft reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, etc

  • Coordinate finishes, material selections and specifications required for construction

  • Develop renderings and presentation drawings


  • Professional Interior Design or Architecture degree from an accredited institution (B.Arch or m.Arch)

  • 3-6 years of Interior Design experience (post-grad). US experience required.

  • Project management experience required

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT

  • Knowledge of 3D and Presentation software including, but not limited to: Rhino, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Strong rendering skills

  • Knowledge of brands, showrooms, and retail stores

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service sensibilities

  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and time management skills

  • Excellent English language communication skills

  • Experience with architectural details: plumbing, electrical and construction drawings
