The NORR Philadelphia office is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs electrical working drawings, including power, lighting, fire alarm and auxiliary systems to accurately incorporate project specifications
  • Drafts electrical working drawings including layouts, details, single lines, schedules and schematics
  • Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish standards and specifications, and convert design dimensions.
  • Coordinates with other disciplines and key stakeholders, as required, to exchange information, provide project status updates, and coordinate resources
  • Conducts drawing production to create a graphic representation of design for review and approval. Maintains electrical prototype sets to ensure updates are tracked and stored
  • Provides assistance to the Lead Electrical Designer to make necessary alterations to drawings or designs and ensures electrical design projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Utilizes industry best practices and established standards to ensure production adheres to corporate and professional expectation 


  • Possesses a professional Bachelor's and/or Master's degree from an accredited university
  • 6-9 years of electrical engineering experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in AutoCAD & REVIT
  • Proficiency with SKM Power Tools including short circuit calculations, relay coordination, and ARC Flash
  • Licensed Engineer, a plus
