INABA WILLIAMS is involved in architectural commissions of varying scales with programs that include media, work, education, and housing. These projects are complemented by research on topics like technology and buildings, designing for old and young, and the near future of the architectural profession. Discussions about approaches to design, methods of analysis and research, architectural precedent, technology subcultures, architectural detailing, and thermal and lighting design permeate the daily work flow, the aim of which is to create new kinds of experiences that have a high level of technical resolution.

We are seeking applicants for a position as a Junior Architect with 1 to 3 years of previous professional experience, and in particular, those with a high level knowledge of Schematic Design 3D modeling and Design Development of mid-scale commercial and mixed-use projects. Applicants should be familiar with the development and management of DD and CD drawing sets, and CA project management and coordination.

General Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years professional experience in an architecture office 
  • Professional Bachelor or Master degree in architecture – BArch or MArch
  • Expertise in 3D modeling; someone who enjoys quickly modeling iterations in form and type
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and project file management
  • Highly organized: a person who is enthusiastic about actively participating in project management as well as design
  • Likes people and communicates effectively with team members
