Art / Design / Architecture studio MARC FORNES / THEVERYMANY is seeking a talented and enthusiastic candidate to handle our marketing and communications efforts on either a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate is a friendly and collaborative personality with strong communications skills and a passion for art and architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • in charge of the communication of the studio: press outreach and correspondence, publications, inquiries regarding events etc.

  • Responding to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs)

  • Creating and organizing marketing material, including writing and customizing text for new and existing projects

  • Preparing newsletters

  • Preparing and submitting awards submissions

  • Updating website and studio portfolio

  • Planning and preparing social media updates: Instagram / Facebook

  • Amounting to a thorough understanding of the studio's body of work and approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Previous marketing or related experience in architecture, design or art.

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft text with a targeted purpose.

  • Graphic design skills and working knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Attention to detail.

  • An interest in public art and architecture is welcomed and encouraged.

  • Special projects within the position are flexible to embrace the interest and talent of the selected candidate.

Salary commensurate with experience.
