Exciting opportunity for experienced Architectural Designers with a successful track record on public architectural projects. This position requires collaboration with our Project Managers and Project Architects to develop appropriate design solutions as well as coordinate the design through the construction documentation phase of the project.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Project Manager(s) and project team (s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents. 
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives. 
  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions. 
  • Provides project team coordination for the project floor plans, specifications, material selections, and cost estimating required for construction. 
  • Produce graphic presentations, and construction drawings. 
  • Assist in planning, making adaptations and modifications to complete the working drawings. 
  •  Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination 
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture. 
  • LEED accreditation is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience on architecture projects or relevant experience in the USA.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both independently and as a part of a project team.
  • Knowledge of building construction and detailing
  • Proficiency in the use AutoCAD, Revit and/or Bentley MicroStation is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes. 
  • Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. 
  • Excellent written communication skills.
