The Community Studio Principal will lead a team of people within our Arlington office who specialize in the design and construction of community based projects including Higher Education, Civic, and K-12 Schools.

You will have the opportunity to mentor and build a team of individuals dedicated to community projects, while collaborating on a daily basis with your team and leaders within the Arlington office. You will have access to a wide-range of resources as you partner on a regular basis with Community and Corporate leaders from across the firm.

Our ideal candidate possesses experience in securing important design opportunities and subsequently building sustainable relationships with a core sector of clients. The candidate may have experience in one or more of the following client types: Public and private higher education, public and private K-12 schools, municipal/city/county/state/federal governments as well as non-profit companies.

Requirements for this role:

  • Integrity, honesty, and selfless leadership;
  • A minimum 10 years of experience in the design profession;
  • Registered Architect; and
  • LEED Accredited Professional is a plus.
