As the leading design/build firm for high-end residential and resort architecture in the Florida Keys, we are seeking for the right individual with experience, knowledge, and passion. We have an immediate opening for a Project Architect to develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents while maintaining the highest-level quality of work.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the conceptual design process.
  • Production of construction documents from concept plans to elevations.
  • Manage documents as required and develop solutions to technical problems.
  • Responsible for building system concepts and documentation process for schematics through construction document phases.
  • Monitor project status and deadlines.
  • Prepare and document required code research for project.
  • Conduct material and product research as required for project development.
  • Coordinate disciplines such as structural, electrical, and mechanical into designs.
  • Obtain and assemble information to complete architectural design.
  • Conduct job site visits to compile measurements as necessary.
  • Conduct building code reviews, as well as, municipal reviews, by-laws, and other technical documents for compliance of architectural designs.
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving challenging architectural problems.
  • Involved in the analysis of client problems in conceiving and developing architectural solutions to those problems.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Extensive knowledge in Revit, AutoCAD and other BIM software
· Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in producing construction documents within an architecture office.
   · Bachelor's degree in Architecture at an accredited university is preferred
· Experience in complex projects, both new construction and renovations.
· Working knowledge of local, state and federal building code requirements
· Strong organizational, time management & multitasking skills.
· Proficient in working efficiently under deadline situations in a fast-paced team environment.
· Excellent communication, management, customer service, and organizational skills. 
· Good problem-solving skills to provide proper and expedient solutions to issues as they arise.
· Exhibit a positive and professional attitude with clients, colleagues, consultants, contractors, and the community.
