Pacific Cornerstone Architects (PCA) is currently seeking highly self-motivated, mid to senior-level project architects for our San Diego office to support our firm’s continued growth. Our project architects are involved in all design and technical aspects of projects from the conceptual/schematic design phase through contract administration and typically oversee the entire process with guidance from a principal. The candidate will have a leadership role in coordinating the project team, consultants and the client representative, as well as liaising with agency authorities having jurisdiction to meet project objectives. Additionally, the candidate will utilize robust technical knowledge to produce detailed design and project documentation. Applicants MUST meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited university architecture program
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit & Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in conceptual design, design presentation, and construction documentation
  • No less than five years prior architectural experience
  • Strong graphic, organization and communication skills are essential
  • Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills

The following qualifications are highly preferable:

  •  Demonstrated proficiency with 3d Modeling and SketchUp
  • Ability to express design thoughts through hand sketching, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite 
  • Ability to work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team. Experience with construction administration
  • LEED Certification preferred but not required
  • Experience in California
