With a primarily non-profit clientele, our projects focus on mixed use, multi-family affordable housing and community service providers. Positions Available include Intermediate (3-5 years) and Architect/Emerging Professional (5+ years; on path to licensure)

  • Desired team members will have related experience with an accredited degree in Architecture; a Masters in Architecture or Urban Planning is a major plus
  • Design sensitivity, interest in sustainability and excellent technical ability 
  • The ability to contribute to and participate in a team environment 
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or equivalent), with at 2-5 years of relevant architectural work experience in multi-family Type V residential construction over concrete podium construction and retail knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk's Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is required.  As a Mac-based office, Vectorworks experience for existing projects a plus.
  • Candidates must have a strong commitment to design excellence and positive social impact, a proven history of success in the craft of building design and demonstrated capability of producing a solid set of construction drawings.
  • Ability to work independently as well as under the direction of the project architect and project manager. A true collaborative, team player. LEED Accreditation a preference, but not required

  • Be involved in all aspects of the project from schematic design documentation through construction administration
  • Set up and manage construction documents in Revit
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once.
  • Assist in the design documentation process working directly with the Project Architects, Project Manager and other designers
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and experience in coordinating with team members, clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Experience in contract administration including reviewing and processing of submittals and shop drawings, and responding to RFIs a definite plus
  • A working knowledge of codes and regulations, including ADA and Title 24 Energy desirable.
  • Experience with affordable and multi-family housing and sustainable design is preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude, follow-through, attention to detail, and organization
  • Effective written, graphic and oral communication skills
