Position Summary:
As Project Architect, you will lead an experienced project team in the design and planning of exciting healthcare and education projects. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where Architects work with Interior Designers, Medical Planners and Workplace Specialists from concept design through construction.  The skill and ability to work with and adapt into a diverse team of designers would serve the candidate well in our highly collaborative environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Architecture
  • Experience with healthcare projects in academic medical centers
  • Knowledge and experience of the total design process from concept through construction
  • Must be a team player and mentor with a proven track record of success working with teams, clients, sub-consultants and contractors while completing complex projects
  • Demonstrates creativity, foresight and a mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving complex architectural challenges
  • Understanding of current trends in hospital and education projects
  • BArch or MArch degree from an accredited university
  • Fundamental 2d and 3d modeling understanding
  • LEED accreditation a plus
  • Knowledge of NYC Building Code
  • License preferred
