Overview of Role:

OSports | Osborn is looking for candidates interested in working on high profile and unique projects in the areas of Sports and Media Design. Led by our Sports, Entertainment and Technology Group, our projects are custom designs that utilize full integration of Architectural Design, Technology and Advanced Engineering to provide creative solutions for our clients.

Currently, we are looking for Senior Architect/ a Project Manager to lead our Technology Design practice. This key role will engage all areas of our practice including; design projects, infrastructure projects, program management and program management. In addition to project management, this role will also have a large client interface component.

Overview of the Company:

OSports, a division of Osborn Engineering, has a rich heritage of sports and entertainment planning and design dating back to 1909, when the firm designed League Park, the first home of Cleveland's major league baseball team. Since then, we have designed and engineered numerous sports architecture icons including Yankee Stadium (1923), Fenway Park, Municipal Stadium, and Ohio Stadium to name a few. Today our practice focuses on the design athletic facilities and technology centric project such as broadcast/convergence centers, studios/newsrooms, and technology infrastructure.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Program Management for FCC Technology Infrastructure & Media/Entertainment projects
  • Interface with Director of Broadcast Communications
  • Lead multi-discipline design teams
  • Peer Review of all construction documents, drawings and specifications, including all engineering disciplines
  • Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
  • Implementation of all local, state and federal applicable building codes, constructability and architectural standards of practice
  • Actively research new building materials and industry standards for implementation into future projects
  • Lead/Mentor Architectural Staff
  • Participate in all aspects of construction administration related activities (in office and on site)


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (Required)
  • 15 - 20 years of project architect experience within the architecture and construction field (Required)
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements (Required)
  • Architectural License (Required)
  • Ability to provide efficient and elegant technical design solutions (Required)
  • Experience with technology centric and broadcast media project (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship with clients (Required)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Preferred)
  • Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture (Preferred)
  • Proficient in LEED (Preferred)
