EDENS seeks a multi-disciplinary Junior Designer to join the EDENS design team. Preferred diverse design background in architecture, interiors, graphic and brand design. A successful candidate should be a detail-oriented individual, with extensive experience working in a fast-paced, diverse studio environment. Hospitality, restaurant, and retail design experience is a must.

Candidate will provide support the Brand Design and Construction teams in a variety of areas to include CAD, renderings, placemaking, and graphics where appropriate.  Candidate will report to the Senior Designer, Branded Places



  • Develop design concepts and studies for retail and hospitality projects. Studies to include signage and graphics, retail concept development, plans, placemaking concepts at various scales and levels of detail.
  • Prepare graphic presentations, working closely with development, marketing and construction.
  • Responsible for design concepts of retail/food events and pop ups at Union Market and other projects within the EDENS portfolio.
  • Responsible for managing and executing EDENS design criteria across portfolio projects.
  • Responsible for review and approval of retailer design submissions as needed - including storefronts, interiors, and signage design.
  • Responsible for taking on diverse design roles to meet the needs of EDENS projects and project retailers.




  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish relationships with diverse levels and working styles throughout the company.
  • Clear and concise written, verbal and graphic presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and other graphic programs.
  • This position will touch all EDENS portfolio projects and offices. Ability to communicate well and work collaboratively with remote teams is a must. Some travel is required within the US.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, delegating, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work and manage a variety of design efforts efficiently across many projects at one time.
  • Knowledge of current trends and processes for design/details/budgets/schedules/specifications and FF&E for restaurant, retail and hospitality industries.
  • Skills include: Programming, Rendering, Space Planning, Finishes, Lighting, Detailing, Estimating, and FF&E Specifications.
  • Expert knowledge of CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Excel. Digital/hand rendering and drawing ability is preferred.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience, including solid restaurant, retail and hospitality design background
  • The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, retail and placemaking.
