EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture are looking for a Business Development Director for its new New York office. EAA is an international practice with offices in London and Istanbul, working in a wide variety of sectors. EAA believe that good design is achieved through extensive detailing and over the past 14 years the practice has earned a reputation for producing exemplary, contextual, and innovative buildings and spaces.

The position requires someone who has an in-depth knowledge of the US market (specifically Miami & NYC) who can confidently represent the office and understands how to present EAA’s portfolio to best explain its relevance to the US market.

This is a holistic position involving all aspects of practice management including; seeking new work, business development, managing design teams and design quality and calls for a strategic Director level appointment with appropriate authority to represent EAA in US and will require a wide range of skills outlined below in four main categories:

Management

  • Liaising with Legal and Financial Advisors

This will be a full-time position that recognises and encourages a long-term commitment to invest in the practice. Initial engagement could be through preparation of a new business strategy & execution plan which would outline a broad strategic approach to seeking new work along with a list of opportunities, define tasks, responsibilities and benchmarks to allow for a real-time progress assessment. Principally to develop, lead and coordinate this strategy.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Architecture or Engineering
