Architect/Designer, archimaniac, 2-5 years

archimania is seeking an architect/designer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our practice. We seek archimaniacs that will positively impact our office and our work.

We strive to design work that creates a dialogue between program, site and context, using intelligent strategies that address cost, performance, and responsibility. required experience + qualifications

  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture 
  • 2 to 5 years of experience working in a practice with a focus on collaborative design. 
  • Experience working with teams, including consultants and stakeholders, from project concepts to construction documents and construction administration. 
  • Experience preparing documents and details that reinforce design concepts and meet budget and project performance criteria
  • Experience with project documentation in Revit
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • US citizenship or all required credentials to work in the US 
  • Availability to relocate to Memphis in next three months

  • Positive attitude in relating to colleagues, team members and clients
  • Openness to working collaboratively and flexibly with different project approaches
  • Self-motivation and work ethic combined with a desire for design excellence 
  • Proficiency or interest in a 3D design software other than Revit (Vray, 3ds Max, FormZ, Rhino, SketchUp)
  • Proficiency or interest in analytical software (Insight 360, Tally, Sefaira)
  • Curiosity in exploring our city and surrounding landscapes
  • Ability to manage time in order to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to contribute to both project efforts and office initiatives
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
  • Interest in architectural history and theory
  • Previous experience working on published and premiated work
  • Architectural Licensure and/or active involvement in ARE/AXP
  • Other Accreditation (LEED, WELL, etc.)
