The Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for three full-time contract faculty positions for the academic year 2017-18, starting August 18, 2017.  Major responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate level design studios as well as support courses in one or more of the following areas: introductory survey courses on the architectural design discipline; building technology; structures; research methods; design media, visualization and representational methods; computational design and fabrication; professional practice.

Minimum qualifications:  Master’s degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university.

Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university. Professional registration in architecture; quality of design work and/or evidence of contributions to the profession through practice and services; a record of quality teaching experience; evidence of quality scholarship; experience with contemporary design media (software and fabrication tools).

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Interviewees will be required to submit copies of transcripts for the highest related degree earned prior to the in-person interview. Original, official transcripts will be required at time of hire.
