Position Summary

You will be versed in the Well Building Standard as a baseline in helping to create new approaches as we focus on lighting, air, water, fitness, nourishment, sleep environments and more.

We are seeking a self-driven individual who approaches the world with a continual thirst for knowledge and who wants to be in an environment that utilizes a cross-disciplined, immersive and collaborative approach. You will be working directly with the SVP of Design and Innovation to create the next generation wellness solutions and integrate them into the built environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in internal development of future programs and services, including innovation of new design solutions that will improve human health and wellbeing
  • Conduct in-depth discoveries of prospective client projects
  • Work with clients to understand their brand and business objectives to help guide our solutions
  • Project management from start to finish including working with outside consultants while maintaining a tight schedule
  • Work with team on proposals, marketing and project collateral, and presentations
  • Conceptualize, ideate and detail all needed materials to convey the design intent of a project
  • Field investigation for new and existing projects
  • Work with the internal teams to create and integrate technology solutions while understanding how it will impact the user experience and the built environment

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

  • 5-7 years working experience, preferably in residential, commercial and/or hospitality design, with knowledge of real estate, design, architecture, technology, and construction
  • Architecture Degree
  • A love of design and architecture
  • Ability to make accurate estimates of measurements, lighting and materials from photographs, renderings acquired during site visits, surveys and phone conversations
  • WELL AP and/or LEED AP credentials a plus
  • Interest and willingness to travel
  • Experience in all phases of project delivery including interfacing with clients, planning, conceptual design, CD's, procurement installation and delivery
  • Construction administration experience is required
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Understanding and knowledge of the current health and environmental issues in the built-environment
  • Experience with home automation systems and or have created a DIY solution
  • Ability to foresee problems and challenges while bringing solutions and recommendations to all phases of a project
  • Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
  • Organization and good communication skills for interacting with clients, consultants, and contractors are essential
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver efficiently in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Comfortable with working under tight deadlines

Compensation:

Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with prior experience.  A comprehensive benefits package is included for full-time employees.
