We are currently seeking an Interiors Architect with specialized experience in hospitality interiors. This position will establish architectural designs for interiors from concept through project completion. Candidates will have a strong knowledge of the design and detailing of hospitality interiors, as well as familiarity with the FF&E and procurement processes. The Interiors Architect will work collaboratively with architects and designers and work closely with clients to ensure that both the interior aesthetic and structural requirements are met. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Executes small to large scale multifamily and hospitality projects – from high-rise to mixed-use, as well as luxury to affordable housing
  • Translate design concepts to plans, elevations and concept details for the production team to build upon
  • Partner with architects and designers to provide perspective on integrated projects and provide input throughout the process
  • Lead design and development for projects including space planning, design of interior spaces in plans, reflecting ceiling plans, elevations, millwork details, and accurate preparation of construction documents, etc.
  • Collaborate with interiors and architectural staff to meet project schedules, budgets and design quality
  • Correspond and coordinate with consultants including lighting, structural, MEP, operation and technical, and construction, etc.
  • Review and check all work for design, accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in client presentations for communicating the project vision
  • Work independently on multiple projects at a time, at various stages 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture
  • Must be a registered architect and/or have NCARB license
  • 5+ years of interior design experience in hospitality
  • Demonstrated proficiency of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office – specifically Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of construction materials, details, methods, standards and building codes
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines and delivering quality
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent timely, clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Positive attitude with high energy
  • Travel may be required
