About 

I am a fun, optimistic, hard worker looking to further my career in Marketing.  I moved to Chicago excited for the opportunity to learn and grow in the media field.  Right now I am an Advertising Account Coordinator.  I work directly with big name brands like McDonald's, US Army, Southwest Airlines, Allstate and their agencies to make sure their campaigns are executed as ordered.  In this position I get to plan events for our sales team to present their wares to the agencies.  I am strategic with campaign buys helping to deliver certain numbers expected by the client.  I have my hand in many different aspects of the company, which I like, but unfortunately growth is not an option. 

Outside of work, I love hitting up all the new eateries around Chicago.  I love delicious food and a beautiful ambiance.  I am a member of our condo’s social committee, which gives me a chance to plan exciting events for our neighbors.  I used to compete in gymnastics, so sometimes I do drop in classes to keep up my skills.  Summer is the best time in the city.  I love riding my bike on Lake Shore and taking in the rays at the beach when it’s Summer.

Employment 

TV One, Chicago, IL, US, Advertising Account Coordinator/ Office Manager

• Primary point of contact for Advertising Agencies and internal TV One departments to resolve discrepancies, create flowcharts, process schedule changes, facilitate makegoods, pre-post log reporting and transmitting EDI for assigned accounts.
• Oversee the acquisition and utilization of facilities, computer systems, equipment and supplies to assure a professional, efficient, safe and pleasant work environment.
• Perform a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to: coordinating mass mailings, ordering office supplies, maintaining office inventory and service contracts, collecting and distributing timesheets and paychecks, preparing and submitting bills for payment, receiving and distributing incoming mail.
• Provide extensive stewardship of all ad sales accounts, working very closely with major brands (Allstate, Kraft, Kellogg’s, Popeye’s, US Army and Burger King to name a few) to ensure the promised delivery.
• Secure sponsorship materials- foster key relationships with contacts at agencies and act as liaison between traffic and agency to safeguard the deliverables for special promotions and billboards arrive and are scheduled correctly.
• Maintain client schedules including contract changes and quarterly schedules.
• Answers all client questions regarding inventory and replace inventory by rescheduling or re expressing.
• Work closely with Ad Sales planner on ADU packages and assist with ratings information.
• Conducted meetings to teach Ad Sales team about social media and ways to remain relevant to ever growing agencies during a sale.

WGN Radio, Chicago, IL, US, Digital Sales Coordinator

• Manage digital aspects of the WGN sales division: input display ads, manage streaming on WGN home page, build Centro RFPs and collect website data including impressions, clicks, etc.
• Facilitated the relationship between WGN sales department and Centro Media Logistics, educating the WGN sales team about how to use and better position the service to clients.
• Created the Chicago Cubs opening day party and Top Chef sales contest.
• Design presentations, provide management assistance, submit pre and post log reports to clients, pull airchecks and coordinate orders for seven Account Executives and two National Sales Managers.
• Coordinate the selling of all WGN Chicago Cubs tickets, working directly with the finance team to maximize revenue and minimize waste.
• Develop internal collateral for local sales managers.

• Drafted and implemented national sports marketing programs with the VP/Director of Sports Sales.
• Developed advertising programs for the majority of professional football, baseball, hockey and basketball teams as well as NCAA Division-I schools and their flagship stations from around the country.
• Managed national promotional programs involving sports teams and their respective flagship radio stations.
• Assisted Midwest Account Executive in all aspects of researching, attracting, pitching and maintaining client relationships with major brands such as 5-hour Energy, Monsanto and BMW.
• Solicited rates, entered orders, requested airchecks, handled invoices and remedied spot issues (i.e. facilitated radio orders from start to finish).

I graduated with a B.A. in Public Communications and Multimedia Studies. Here I got a chance to work in many different divisions of media. Advertising, television, radio and print. We learned about International communication, non-verbal communication, all ways to communicate and understand differences in people. I had a number of public speaking classes, made many presentations and worked on perfecting my writing.
