It was important that the first Southern California location for this popular plant-based restaurant chain be both true to the spirit of the brand while also being uniquely LA. In order to develop a modern take on the traditional branding the graphic iconography was simplified and hand crafted honest materials were used. Intentionally subtle in the traditional signage sense, the perforated bronze design creates a play of shadow and light that evolves throughout the day and night serving as more than a just a sign by creating environmental emotion and interest with shadow ephemera.
