A play of contrasting materials, angles, and light create a unique and innovative space for displaying high-end women’s fashion at this Melrose boutique. The concept was to reimagine the shopping experience as vignettes comprised of sculpted walnut casework. Instead of traditional display solutions, the casework was triangulated to create dynamic viewing angles. Working on a fast-tracked construction schedule I was tasked with designing the custom casework, specifying materials, and creating all visualization material. The renderings were an integral part of the design for this project. They were used for marketing purposes, conceptualizing the project for the client, as well as giving material and construction guidance to the contractor.
