About

I am eager to gain mastery in every aspect of architecture and design, and over the long-term, influence the design world.

I have a BA Honors degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Westminster, in London. I am a dedicated and creative professional, and have personally seen and studied a wealth of diverse architecture and design around the world. I have deep experience with all skills required for this position, with at least 3 years working with Rhino 3D ,V-Ray, AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft, and creating architectural drawings, models, and laser cuts. As an artist, I have a keen eye for detail, consistently produce strong multimedia visualizations.

My work was exhibited at the Sigmund Freud Museum in London in 2017. The project, commissioned by the Anna Freud Foundation, commemorated the Anna Freud Children’s Hut. The foundation planned to sell and demolish the children’s center due to inadequate use. As a team, we built a 1:20 scale model of the structure. After design engagements with all parties, we presented our proposal for how the spirit of the Children’s Hut could be permanently preserved at the Freud Museum.

I have always been involved in activities outside the university, one of which is basketball. At UWSU I twice lead the women’s basketball team as a junior and senior captain. As my game wasn’t great, I feel it was my commitment to communication and teamwork that got me elected.

I was born in Tehran, and have always wanted to explore urban development professionally. I find comfort in challenging popular opinion. My thesis, “Housing Development in Iran, and How Structural Development Reduced Life Qualities,” critiqued how development in and of itself does not necessarily create higher quality of living. As part of my course of study, I completed planning applications and access statements, and between it all have an acute sensibility of how buildings can either enhance or detract from the soul of its surrounding environment.
