My Architectural Design Thesis shows how a building can express egalitarian justice, the concept that everyone has equal rights, including equal rights to access to the justice process. Additionally, it investigated the role design plays to reduce stress in the build environment, by allowing users to have access to nature.
This proposal for the Supreme Court, explores the expression of egalitarianism, by providing all users with access to the stress relieving properties of the building; access to natural light, access to views out, natural ventilation and most importantly, access to the stress relieving properties of nature.
