Gandhi is an intern architect pursuing licensure in Illinois, USA. For over five years he has worked at architectural offices in North America and Scandinavia, focusing on buildings that have targeted sustainability strategies and design excellence as major project goals.

His studies at Carleton University focused on the integration of sustainable systems as design components within buildings, culminating in the completion of a master’s thesis on the subject of renewable energy production using building integrated photovoltaics as both functional and aesthetic components of exterior envelopes. At his undergraduate convocation Gandhi was recognized by the president of Carleton University for winning first runner-up in a national sustainable design competition. He subsequently published a journal article on the subject of Net-Zero Energy Buildings, using the project as a case study for interdisciplinary approaches to architectural solutions.

With in-depth knowledge of various design technologies and digital tools, Gandhi applies his conceptual and technical skills to a variety of complex projects to ensure that timelines are met without sacrificing project goals and design intent.
