The new medical arts building for Your Oviedo Dentist was designed around the linear sequence of the patient from the moment they enter the site. Located at a bend in a road, the position of the building was critical in establishing a presence on the street for ease of access. Public spaces such as waiting and reception are aligned with north facade to access natural light. Operatories are organized along the south, each with a large window overlooking a private garden. A simple loop corridor connects all areas with a central utility core providing visual separation between clinical and office spaces. The strong horizontal form of the building opens up along the north and east elevations to capture natural light and to announce the presence of the building to the street.
