Daniel Fraga is an Architect, Virtual Reality Designer and Developer and a Creative Researcher. His background broadcasts a wide set of skills and fields. He started in 2015 at the Next Nature Network in Amsterdam, where he led the creation of the "Next Nature Habitat VR", a VR experience that has travelled to SXSW 2017, VR Days Amsterdam and is currently in exhibition at VR Arles.
He's worked at an international company specialized in large scale retail projects, LEXARQ - designing supermarkets for the Biedronka Group.
Recently, he's developing the VR Visuals for MayoKondor, an electronic music trio, as an artist in residence at GNRation Braga, Portugal. Beyond his architectural work, he has continuously researched the topic of Post-Architecture and Ontological Design. He has published articles on platforms like VR Scout, Telling Architectural publications, Nextnature.net, as well as having been interviewed by National Geographic host and philosopher Jason Silva. He will serve as a jury in an art competition in early September in Oporto, associated with the "Forum do Futuro". In essence, Fraga designs experiences intended to interfere with the very fabric of your perception, combining his diverse Architectural and creative background with new media. Virtual Reality is a pleonasm; like wet water, it's a redundant expression. All reality is virtual.
