architecture department chair @ berkeley
i'm wondering if anyone might have any info on who will be the selected chair at berkeley's architecture department. i've heard tom buresh's name thrown into the mix from a couple of sources.
just curious as an incoming student. should be interesting...
when will this chair be determined? any thoughts?
as an incoming student you might try asking the department directly... department chair searches are usually accompanied by public lectures by all of the final candidates, so they should be willing to let you know who the finalists are if they've gotten to that point already...
I talked to Nicholas deMonchaux and he said that Tom J. Buresh, former chair of Arch at Uni of Michigan is the new chair for CED Arch.
great news! just heard from a friend about the same thing. looking forward to having tom buresh as dean. umich was my 2nd choice school :)
