Has anyone been invited to a Graduate School recruiting type of open house before they've been accepted to the school? I've been invited to one and they are paying for my airfare and hotel along with only two other people. But they said I'm not officially accepted. Has this happened to anyone else?
you're accepted-they wouldn't fly you out otherwise...go-I went -it was fun and a great opportunity to see the program up close when it isn't an open house. the reason they say you're not "officially" accepted is b/c you are accepted into the architecture program but you have to also be accepted into the graduate school, which more than likely won't be an issue but that confirmation takes longer.
Living in Gin:
I graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a dual bArch in Architecture and Interior Architecture. After working professionally for 3 and a half years I figured out that I want to specialize in interior architecture. Graduate degrees in interior arch are hard to find, but I applied to the Master of Science in Architecture with a concentration in Interior Design at Cincinnati. The program is geared toward what I'm interested in even if it isn't an interior arch masters. Plus I want to teach in interior arch and it's set up to prepare you for that when you graduate.

I didn't know either until they called me ;-)
Gotcha... I've applied to DAAP's M.Arch. program, so maybe we'll be seeing each other. Looks like we're not competing for the same slots, so now I feel better. :) Good luck!

No, University of Cincinnati. They said they don't send out letters until April.
