I need pointers. This may seem a silly post but I am currently applying to Cooper Union's MArch II program and feeling a bit frustrated. And as I am writing my essay, I am feeling an overwhelming amount of pressure to get it right. '
I guess i'm trying to find a way to correctly write this....in regards to lanuage. Should it be based more on theory or what?
I know what i'm capable of, i just want to make sure i convey it correctly with the right passion and thought provoaking elements...
you're competing for one of... four, maybe six spots? Assuming the program has shown up on everyone's radar by now, could be one of the most competitive programs in the industry.
think about your audience, make it interesting for them, stand apart from the crowd in an elegant way.
i normally just have my boss proof read them. it helps that she comes from another field so i can modify all the BS that i wrote and simply, if needed. Or have someone that at least writes or a living (articles, blogs, newspapers) - they always bring something to the table.
