it's interesting that mit has been notifying a week early, and then the very next business day yale notifies roughly a week early as well.. hm, correlation?

aww! i'm also another long time lurker with good news about yale! i have to admit, i stared at that email for a long time, but it wasn't until i logged onto archinet and saw that other people were hearing the same news that i felt, yes! this is real!

Princeton apparently calls, just like MIT. Between checking missed calls and jumping every time my phone buzzes with a new message.. whew. Crazy week!

i've never been so excited for a site visit to the middle of nowhere, like the one I have scheduled tomorrow. it will render me email/archinect-less for at least half the day.

also, before i start hearing back, a question: if you dont' get in somewhere that you wanted to go, and are thinking about applying next year as well, is it okay to call the school and ask why you weren't accepted / what you can do to improve your application?

While disappointed that it looks like Yale and MIT are done deals for me...it is making me even more excited about my one acceptance. Remember that guys...if you have gotten in somewhere so far that is awesome.

For those still waiting on any positive news....there is A LOT more to come.

I just got an email from PRATT saying that they can't make a decision without:

one letter of recommendation

portfolio

college transcripts

GRE.


I sent all of these and more (recommendations) before the January deadline. Anyone else have problems like this? If so did anyone correct them?

I applied to Columbia and GSD and have not received any emails like this.
