SCI ARC Housing

sanofiSYN

Hey All-

Just found out acceptance from the school for M.ARch I. I'm about 80% sure I'll accept. Dig the program and the work going on there. Now, moving onto practicalities, can anyone offer insight on housing? I figure i'd hit up craigslist. but not being a west coast/l.a. native, am not too familiar with areas. in the past, heard echo park was an alright area in terms of proximity. i'd like a fairly close enough area where i could bike to classes. other reqs = safe and access to grocery stores, coffee shop, etc. u know, liveable area. for a decent 1 bdr/studio, how much do u think it'll cost me? thanks.

please use the search box at the bottom of the discussion forum page. if you did, you would have come up with this:

never mind all of the threads that just start out as sci_arc but sidetrack into housing issues.
