im not sure whats up w/ parsons or pratt. i have also been accepted to IIT. Im on the fence as well. I think that the faculty @ IIT are doing great things in the industry, and for networking post -graduation, Chicago has to be in the top three cities in the country to be in. my buddy is in his second semester of the March 3, and he just got back from a two week trip to switzerland, which is pretty sweet! anyway, i think the education/ resources you will have at IIT can compare/ rival most other programs in the country.

I visited IIt this past Monday and the energy at the school was great. The professors are also very interesting and have many diverse things going on. The opportunities abroad are also impressive. You mentioned that your friend is currently in his second semester. What does he think of the program?

i think that he is happy there. He also applied to other schools like AZ state, and UW, but IIT was definitely his first choice. From an applicant standpoint, i am very impressed w/ the attention and communication the representatives at IIT have offer. My other apps. were to Oregon, and Washington. when i had questions i felt that i had to pry the information out of them. I dont know if that is an indication of the character of the faculty, but it is encouraging.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the open house because of work but I sent my acceptance of their offer last week. So I will be there this summer! Are you looking into Parsons?
