Intro to Arch summer housing NYC
Hi,
For on-campus housing, is it the usual practice to pay full amount at the time of application online? The online application asked me to pay the full rent right away. Can anyone with previous experience clarify?
If you don't pay it right away, it gets added to your account (along with tuition, etc.) and you'll begin receiving statements asking for payment. If you don't pay it, it's treated like any other delinquent account: They put a hold on your student records, they add a bunch of late fees, and eventually it gets referred to a collection agency.
So I'm told, anyway... *cough*
Will you be attending the Intro to Arch at Columbia? Do you have any interest in off campus housing?
As I mentioned on the other thread you posted on, I attended the GSAPP summer program in 2007. I discuss my experiences with the program more in-depth on other threads; you can find them by doing a search.
I lived on-campus during the program, and I now live elsewhere in NYC.
