Okay, so I'm a HS senior right now, and I'm perusing a career in architecture. I've been accepted to Pratt Institute, but with tuition prices near $50k, I am starting to realize I desperately need to get some financial help. What should I look into? The local scholarship package can offer $500 at most, and I've already applied. Do you know any scholarships or organizations willing to help or worth contacting? Thanks.
You might see if the AIA chapter in your area gives any scholarships... although I think a lot of times they want you to attend the a local school --- not sure if that's the case for you with Pratt.
I applied to cooper union rejected, and pratt has yet to send me my financial aid package, but the maximum for arch majors is $15,000. The deadline for AIAS has past months ago, so at this point I'm just wondering if I should go to NJIT, which I really don't like, or just deal with the high tuition, write a letter asking for more, what to do?

i can't say anything good or bad about NJIT, it's not the greatest school but it might be a good school to transfer from if you do well enough.
