I am in my Design III studio course and I have been presented with the opportunity to do an honors research project. I believe the instructor is looking more for a large report and a small model. Because I am looking to transfer on the fall of 09, I am really looking for something good.
My interests revolve around architectural theory as I thought it to be appropriate to a design studio. But please don’t limit suggestions to that.
"I believe the instructor is looking more for a large report and a small model."
First suggesion before anything else: get explicit understanding as to what's expected and will constitute a successful project. Many students post tales of woe here about differing expectations and disappointment with grades. Talk to the instructor openly, and make sure you both are in agreement.
