A project which reflects my philosophy (my belief in science and nature) and interests (ecology). It should take lead from my past experiences (architecture, dissertation, and training regarding bio climatic and energy efficiency buildings) with a possibility of exploring more regarding the same in further studies.
Objectives:
1. An up to the mark and to the point research on sustainability issues with a special emphasis on biomimicry to solve specific problems.
2. A pseudo-real architectural project to raise the problems which needs to be addressed, and thus helping the research done to be materialized (a built project)
Options:
1. Institute of Oceanic studies (maritime, life sciences and law courses)
2. Science museum or centers (any specific branch or a general one)
3. Project with much scope of multi functional and dynamic spaces (dynamic both in function and form)
I need help to finalize on pseudo/real architectural project.
It sounds like you have some solid ideas to work with so keep that process going. No one is going to give you all the answers to the "pseudo/real architecture"
Just start making architecture and then you can answer these questions.
Why not a business incubator for sustainable business ventures? The program could include labs, industrial space, retail, food and educational types of facilities. This project can be viable in an urban or rural area. There are a lot of precedents out there but no two incubators have the same program or clientele so there is a lot of variety.
Imagine the possibilities
Sustainable_________ Business incubator
Theater
Agribusiness
Urban farmers markets
Music / Media
Restaurant
Manufacturing
Retail
Art
Ya Business incubator sounds exciting. If I can frame the right program with the leads given by you, it can form a good brief. It is also a bit different from the conventional Centres for Environmental studies.
Frankly its for the first time and over this forum only i got to know abt the business incubator. can some one shed light on any special facilities BI offers apart from office spaces.
Are there any stand alone BI which are not affiliated to technical universities or organizations and have facilities like research laboratories of their own.

What I meant by Pseudo/real project is just a real or a hypothetical project. Not any solutions

don't take too long developing your program.
this was my (near) downfall
If looking at business incubators for the social(ly responsible) entrepreneur, have a look at the hub
