The kind of BArch architecture experience each school offers is part of what I would like to know and how does that experience make one school preferred over the other.
I'm going on being 25 years old, worked at an architectural firm for 2 years building models, and studied graphic design in Sydney, Australia which school would be a better fit for me over the other? Just looking for some insight.
are you close enough to travel to them? that is likely the best way to form your opinion. i know a bit about each one generally and have worked with people who attended each. they were very competent. nc state has a more mature research component to its school, though i'm not sure how much of that filters into the BArch, though likely there are opportunities for ambitious students who want exposure to research. i think they have research specializations in sustainability, healthy environments and universal design and opportunities to mix with engage the industrial design program. unc charlotte seems to be making strides to develop more research though it is not as mature. again, not sure if you even care, or if you do, how easy it would be to seek out opportunities to access those aspects of the programs. as far as the core curriculums, i do not know enough about them, other than the people i worked with from each were good at their jobs
I have visited UNC Charlotte and liked what I saw. The industrial design option at NC State is something I would be interested in and really the only reason I would choose NC State over UNC Chalotte at this point.

NC State or UNC Charlotte
Which schools BArch program is better and why?
It depends. What do you want from your BArch experience?
