Who is going to PRATT for fall 2011? (M.Arch)

Hey, I am 90% sure that I will be attending Pratt, I was wondering is anyone else here going to Pratt for the next fall too?
(Lets ask our questions so we can get a better perspective of the program)

I'll be attending, I have yet to pay the deposit but I will. I'm still waiting for the acceptance package from them. I received the first acceptance email April 1st and another one last week. I wonder whats taking them so long.

I got my package about 2 weeks ago,I think you do not need the package you can pay the deposit online.
I want to know how can I get advanced placement as I have a four year bachelors degree.
Do you have any Idea about the dorms, laptop program and rents there?

Those who received advanced standing were told in the admissions letter.

It says on the website that you can apply for the advanced placement 1 week before the classes start.

Interesting, that is completely opposite of what they said at the open house. Well, good luck either way.

In  regards to the computer...

I called the school and the woman I spoke to said she has never really seen a student attempt to use a desktop and leave it in studio. She did reaffirm that a laptop was mandatory. I am going to NY for a couple days so we'll see. Looks like I no longer have an excuse to hemorrhage money on a desktop anymore.

@landmass - Yeah I talked to a friend of mine at pratt and he recommended me to buy a laptop but not the one that the school is recommending.
@mr. minimal- I hope I get the advanced placement, even one semester is something with these tuition rates.
