I am a senior at the University of Missouri, majoring in Interior design. My desire is to continue in a masters after attaining my BS from MU. I am heavily leaning towards a graduate degree with an emphasis in sustainable design AND technology. After perusing the threads on here I was wondering if there are any current developments around instituions such as UC Berkeley and AA and others like them towards programs which are an integration of the two (technology and design). It has been pointed out that students should be careful when looking for schools which tout the fact they have sustainable programs because often this is a miss-leading statement in that the program may only contain select classes or have several faculty who are dealing with "sustainable" issues. Having said all of this, I have done just about as much research as I am capable of, short of contacting every school im interested in and talking specifically about their degree orientations. I would like to study in europe for the experience of learning in both a different cultural atmosphere and because of the environmental societal school of thought.

So aside from having the program evaluated by EESA-NCARB the question at hand still stands.
