Portfolio Review: Grad School
Hey!
I am applying for grad school this year, mostly research based programs.
I have applied to Yale and MIT, and keeping my fingers crossed but I also am continuing work on improvement of both content and presentation.

No one is going to request access to a google drive doc. Post it to issuu if you want any feedback.. Besides that, please remember that USA tuition is not an investment. Don't go unless it's free/cheap.

I think your folio is strong ! quite enjoyed flicking thru the works. One suggestion though , there are wall of texts in the first 10 pages and it’s not what you want ( you want to grab the attention as soon as you can) . I would rearrange the hierarchy ; balance out the nice graphics that you have. Definitely worth a second round of finessing this.

I agree, I do want to cut down the textual part by quite a bit. A question, do you think its too short and might need more drawings?
Might need to check the schools you are applying re: page limit. I like spread 34-35p a couple of that sections on other projects and the 3d axo like the stairs..would make the folio even better. G luck

Your portfolio seems that you are highly ambitious architecturally, with logical and unique ideas. However, I think your portfolio lacks pages that showcase your sense of form. And, it is just my personal opinion, the line weights in your drawings seem too similar.
It is just an meaningless review from another applicant. Anyway, I respect your huge courage with uploading your portfolio. I hope to see you at school that you have applied!
So Goose, it does make sense, thanks for going through it! I agree, this is one observation that I also have, there aren't enough drawings that exhibit form. I do feel maybe more drawings, illus would help my cause. (in my head, it thought since my approach doesn't work that way so maybe its okay) but I hear you. Hope to see you and myself at the school, lol.
