Do any graduates or current students at Washington University in St. Louis have insight into the types of post graduation opportunities for Master of Architecture grads?
I know it is a great school, but slightly worried WUSTL may end up trapping me in the Midwest. I’ve also been accepted into RISD, but with not nearly as much funding offered as WUSTL. How are the opportunities in big cities for WUSTL grads?
Wash U is not limiting, I would think of it as quite the opposite -- most grads move from the midwest. I'm on the east coast and have worked with many of them at pretty exclusive firms. I don't think of RISD as a particularly distinctive grad school, though they are great for undergrad.... it really depends on what you're looking for. You can't go wrong with either.
